A quick and easy snack featuring creamy deviled eggs topped with crunchy everything bagel seasoning, perfect for casual gatherings and potlucks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs, hard-boiled and peeled
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar or white vinegar
  • Salt, to taste (start with 1/4 teaspoon)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning
  • Optional: pinch of smoked paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place 6 large eggs in a medium saucepan and cover with cold water by about an inch.
  2. Bring water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat, then cover the pan and remove it from heat. Let eggs sit for exactly 12 minutes.
  3. Transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water immediately to stop cooking and cool for at least 5 minutes.
  4. Gently tap and roll each egg on a hard surface to crack the shell, then peel under running water if needed.
  5. Using a sharp knife, cut each egg lengthwise, keeping the whites intact.
  6. Scoop the yolks into a mixing bowl and mash until smooth.
  7. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper to the mashed yolks and stir until silky and well combined.
  8. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  9. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning generously over the filled eggs.
  10. Optionally, dust lightly with smoked paprika for color and aroma.
  11. Chill the deviled eggs in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use eggs that are a few days old for easier peeling. Peel eggs under cold running water to remove shells more easily. If filling is too thick, add a splash of milk or more mayo. Toast everything bagel seasoning lightly for extra aroma. Add everything bagel seasoning just before serving to keep it crunchy.
