A quick and easy creamy whipped feta dip with a perfect balance of spicy hot honey and fresh herbs, ideal for entertaining or casual snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) crumbled feta cheese, preferably Greek
  • 4 oz (115 g) softened cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) Greek yogurt (substitute dairy-free yogurt for vegan)
  • 3 tbsp fresh herbs (chopped parsley, dill, and oregano)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) hot honey (e.g., Mike’s Hot Honey)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Crumble the feta into chunks and place in a food processor. Add softened cream cheese and Greek yogurt.
  2. Pulse and blend continuously for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is silky smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Add a teaspoon of water or olive oil if too thick.
  3. Transfer whipped feta to a mixing bowl. Stir in minced garlic, chopped herbs, and lemon juice.
  4. Season lightly with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  5. Spoon the dip into a serving dish and drizzle generously with hot honey.
  6. Garnish with additional fresh herbs and serve with warm pita bread, crackers, or fresh vegetable sticks.

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth blending. Add olive oil or water gradually to adjust consistency. Fresh herbs are preferred for best flavor. For a warm dip, bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes after drizzling honey. Store leftovers refrigerated up to 3 days; stir in olive oil before serving if thickened.
