Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp chia seeds (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • For Classic Maple Blueberry: 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • For Peanut Butter Banana: 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1/2 ripe banana (mashed), 1 tbsp honey
  • For Chocolate Cherry: 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/4 cup dark cherries (pitted)
  • For Apple Cinnamon: 1/2 apple (diced), 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, 1 tbsp chopped walnuts (optional), 1 tbsp brown sugar or maple syrup
  • For Tropical Mango Coconut: 1/4 cup diced mango, 1 tbsp shredded coconut (unsweetened), 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. In a mason jar, combine 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 tsp chia seeds (if using), and a pinch of salt. Shake to mix.
  2. Add 1 tbsp sweetener (maple syrup or honey) and 1/2 cup milk. Stir well until oats are submerged.
  3. Add 1/4 cup Greek yogurt and any flavor-specific ingredients (e.g., peanut butter, cocoa powder, cinnamon). Stir until combined.
  4. Gently fold in fruit (blueberries, cherries, mango, or banana). Leave room at the top of the jar.
  5. Seal the jar tightly and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight (8-12 hours).
  6. In the morning, stir the oats. If too thick, add a splash of milk. Top with extra fruit, nut butter, or granola. Serve cold or microwave for 30-60 seconds if desired.

Notes

Use rolled oats (not instant or steel-cut) for best texture. Chia seeds add thickness and omega-3s. Jars keep in fridge up to 5 days. For vegan version, use plant-based milk and yogurt, and maple syrup instead of honey. For high-protein, add a scoop of protein powder.
