A quick, no-bake snack made with simple pantry staples like oats, peanut butter, and chocolate chips. These protein balls are chewy, satisfying, and perfect for on-the-go energy without the crash.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 cups Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • ½ cup Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and salt, stirring to distribute evenly.
  2. Add the creamy peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract to the bowl.
  3. Mix thoroughly with a spoon or spatula until a uniform, sticky dough forms. Adjust consistency with more oats or honey if needed.
  4. Fold in the dark chocolate chips gently to distribute them evenly.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to firm up the mixture.
  6. Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of mixture at a time and roll into smooth balls between your palms. Dip hands in ice water if the mixture is sticky.
  7. Place the rolled balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet. For firmer texture, freeze for 15 minutes before serving or storing.

Notes

Ensure you use Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats, not quick oats, to maintain texture. If using natural peanut butter, stir it well before measuring. Chill the mixture thoroughly to prevent sticking while rolling. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months.
