A quick and easy frozen strawberry lemonade margarita recipe perfect for summer parties, combining sweet strawberries, tart lemon, and smooth tequila for a refreshing icy drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (300g) frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup (240ml) lemonade
  • 3/4 cup (180ml) tequila blanco
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups (240-360ml) ice cubes
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons granulated sugar or simple syrup (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Lemon wedges, fresh strawberries, and coarse salt for rimming glasses

Instructions

  1. Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of your glasses, then dip the rims into coarse salt. Set aside.
  2. Squeeze fresh lemons until you have 1/4 cup (60ml) of juice. Strain to remove seeds if needed.
  3. In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, lemonade, fresh lemon juice, tequila blanco, triple sec, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Add ice cubes and sugar or simple syrup if desired for sweetness.
  5. Blend on high for about 45 seconds to 1 minute until smooth and slushy. Stop and stir if needed to help ice break down evenly.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more sugar or lemon juice if desired. Blend briefly again if additions are made.
  7. Pour into prepared glasses and garnish with a lemon wedge and a fresh strawberry on the rim. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use frozen strawberries for best texture. Fresh lemon juice is essential for bright flavor. Do not overblend ice to avoid watery drinks. Salt rim enhances flavor. Sweetener is optional depending on lemonade sweetness. Chill glasses beforehand for best experience. Blend in batches for parties and stir before serving if stored.
