A quick and easy summer drink combining watermelon sorbet and sparkling strawberry lemonade for a refreshing, fizzy treat perfect for hot days and casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 scoops (about 120g or 4 oz) watermelon sorbet
  • 1 cup (240 ml) sparkling strawberry lemonade
  • Fresh strawberry slices for garnish (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
  • A pinch of lemon zest (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade (if homemade): In a bowl, mash fresh strawberries with a fork until pulpy but not liquefied. Add lemon juice and sweetener, stirring to dissolve. Pour in sparkling water gently to keep bubbles. Chill in fridge for 10 minutes.
  2. Chill your serving glasses in the freezer for about 10 minutes to slow sorbet melting.
  3. Use an ice cream scoop or spoon to place two generous scoops of watermelon sorbet into each chilled glass.
  4. Slowly pour 1 cup (240 ml) of sparkling strawberry lemonade over the sorbet, letting the fizz bubble up naturally. Pour gently to avoid overflowing.
  5. Garnish with fresh strawberry slices, a sprig of mint, and a pinch of lemon zest if desired.
  6. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon and enjoy.

Notes

Let sorbet soften for 5 minutes at room temperature before scooping for easier handling. Pour sparkling lemonade slowly to preserve bubbles. Chill glasses beforehand to slow melting. Use fresh sparkling lemonade for best fizz. Sorbet is naturally dairy-free, making this recipe suitable for vegan and lactose-intolerant diets.
